Ep 8. The Masked Assassin

In episode 8 of season 3 of Bungo Stray Dogs, titled The Masked Assassin, the story picks up from the previous episode where the Armed Detective Agency is in pursuit of an escaped Port Mafia member. Dazai was known for his unique ability to manipulate time and was rumored to have gone mad after his ability became unstable. The Agency is skeptical of Kajii's claims but decides to follow up on her lead.

They track down Dazai's last known location and find that he has been living in isolation in an old abandoned building. When they confront him, Dazai denies being the assassin and claims that he has been trying to fix his ability. However, a sudden attack by a masked figure forces Dazai to reveal that he is indeed the assassin and that he has been targeting influential figures in order to expose their corruption.

Dazai also reveals that his true target is none other than Fukuzawa himself. He believes that Fukuzawa is hiding a secret and that exposing him will bring about a much-needed change in the city. The Agency is shocked by Dazai's revelation and must now decide whether to trust their own leader or take a chance on the masked assassin's claims.

The rest of the episode is filled with tense action sequences as the Agency tries to prevent Dazai from carrying out his plan. The battle is further complicated by the appearance of both the Port Mafia and a mysterious organization known only as The Guild. The three groups engage in a chaotic three-way battle that leaves the fate of everyone involved uncertain.
