Coronation Street Season 55 Episode 41 Wed Feb 26 2014

The episode begins with Roy waking up in bed with Hayley’s urn next to him. He softly talks to her, saying how much he misses her and how he’s finding it difficult to move on. Then, he heads to work at the café where Carla shows up unannounced. She asks him to allow Leanne to work at the café and Roy agrees, but only if Leanne works as a waitress. In the meanwhile, Steve invites Lloyd for a drink at The Rovers and they talk about Steve’s concerns regarding Peter's alcoholism.

Over at The Rovers, Stella and Gloria are hosting a karaoke night. Peter shows up and enters the karaoke competition, but his singing is slurred due to his drinking problem. Carla shows up and tries to take Peter home, but he becomes abusive towards her and starts singing a crude song about her. Carla decides to leave alone, but stops in the alley outside the pub to sob.

Elsewhere on the street, Kylie and David have a confrontation over the future of their family while Gail pleads with them to reconcile. Meanwhile, Tyrone is visited by Kim who starts blackmailing him over the death of Tina. But, Fiz suggests they look into getting CCTV cameras installed at the garage to gather more evidence against Kim.

The episode ends with Carla returning to her flat and finding Peter there. He apologizes for his behavior and they kiss before heading to bed. However, as they lie there, Peter’s phone rings and he answers a call from his mistress, Tina, leaving Carla feeling hurt and betrayed.
