An apartment building in Breidholt is under siege. Isak and Victor have taken over the building and hold its inhabitant's hostage while shooting firearms from the roof. The police are faced with an unprecedented situation and struggle to deal with the threatening attacks. Lára fails to show up for her father's funeral, and puts herself in grave danger as she desperately tries to save Alda's life.

Isak and his older brother, Victor, have nothing to lose anymore as they attempt to flee from both their past actions and the police. Alda finds herself in a sticky situation. Lára, in the meantime tries to cope with the grief of losing a father, saving her child and solving a murder.

Alda has managed to convince Isak, to change paths and turn his back on a troubled life spent in the shadow of his brothers. The change is more difficult than it seems at first as he must deal with the consequences of his past actions. The Breidholt community is fraught with fear and the police find themselves dealing with a murder.

Lára and her co-workers explore the Philippine community in Breidholt, where one shop-owner seems to have the community in a tight grip. Alda has a secret that she is keeping away from her mother. She tries to get a hold of her boyfriend, Isak, who is fighting his own demons.

Alda goes missing. Her boyfriend, Isak, is suspected of being involved but he manages to evade the police, who have been monitoring him for a while. A bomb goes off outside a school in the suburb of Breidholt where many immigrants study. The police put greater effort into the investigation into the anti-immigrant group who have declared war against the immigrant population.

A Philippine woman dies in a fire at a restaurant caused by arson and ties to an anti-immigrant group emerge. At home Lára must deal with her daughter, Alda, who, through her new boyfriend, has started socializing with some seriously shady characters.
