Ep 7. What Wood You Wear?

Dave is a semi-autobiographical comedy centered around the life of Dave Burd, also known by his stage name Lil Dicky. In episode 7 of season 1 titled "What Wood You Wear?", we see Dave struggling with writer's block as he tries to come up with new material for his album. His girlfriend, Ally, suggests that he takes a break from his work and join her and her friends in a weekend cabin trip to get some fresh air and inspiration.

He takes on the project with gusto and comes up with a creative and impressive outfit that impresses everyone.

The fashion show becomes a turning point in the weekend, as it breaks down some of the barriers between Dave and the group. They start to appreciate each other's unique qualities and talents, regardless of their professional success or failure. Dave also starts to feel more confident and comfortable in his own skin.

The episode ends on a positive note, with Dave finding some inspiration for his music and Ally showing him support and affection. "What Wood You Wear?" is a fun and engaging episode that highlights the importance of being true to oneself, not defining oneself by one's social status or professional success, and finding inspiration in unexpected places.
