Ep 10. Loaded and Exploded

In Dishmantled season 1 episode 10, titled "Loaded and Exploded," host Titus Burgess welcomes two chefs to the show. The first chef, Chef Derek, is from Atlanta and specializes in Southern cuisine. The second chef, Chef Mary, is from Los Angeles and is known for her unique fusion dishes.

As the chefs prepare for the challenge, they are blindfolded and placed in a splatter room. They are then each presented with a mystery dish that they must taste and try to identify the ingredients. Chef Derek is able to correctly identify the dish as loaded potatoes while Chef Mary struggles to identify the flavors.

Once the mystery dish has been revealed, Titus blasts the chefs with a giant cannon filled with the loaded potato ingredients, covering them with mashed potatoes, chives, bacon, cheese, and sour cream. The chefs then have to race to recreate the loaded potato dish from memory while being bombarded by the cannon.

As the chefs work to create their dishes, there are some mishaps and explosions, causing them to take a creative approach to their dishes. Chef Derek decides to make a loaded potato salad while Chef Mary opts for a loaded potato burrito.

The judges, including food critic Soleil Ho, comedian Dan Levy, and guest judge Gaten Matarazzo from Stranger Things, taste both dishes and provide feedback on the flavors, textures, and presentation. While both chefs impress the judges, only one can win the $5,000 prize.

In the end, a winner is chosen based on the judges' scores and the creativity of their dish. The episode ends with Titus thanking the chefs for participating and encouraging viewers to tune in to the next episode of Dishmantled.
