Dishmantled is a cooking competition show where contestants are blasted with a food cannon, getting covered in a mystery dish. The first contestant is a stay-at-home mom from Chicago who loves to cook and experiment with different flavors. The second contestant is a caterer from Miami who specializes in brunch dishes. As they taste the dish, the contestants try to identify all the different components and flavors. She also decides to use turkey bacon instead of regular bacon and adds some herbs and spices to the chicken batter. For the glaze, she combines maple syrup with hot sauce and a little bit of vinegar to balance out the sweetness.

The caterer from Miami decides to stick to the original recipe as much as possible. She uses a cornmeal waffle mix to make the waffle and adds some cayenne pepper to the chicken batter to give it a little kick. For the glaze, she combines maple syrup with honey and a pinch of sea salt.

As time starts running out, both contestants start feeling the pressure. The mom from Chicago is worried that her waffle won't turn out crispy enough, while the caterer from Miami is concerned that her chicken won't be cooked all the way through. However, they both manage to finish their dishes just in time.

The judges taste both dishes and give their feedback. They are impressed with the mom from Chicago's creative twist on the dish, but think that her waffle is a little too thick and her glaze is a little too tangy. They love the caterer from Miami's faithful recreation of the original dish, but think that her chicken is a little too spicy and her glaze is a little too sweet.

In the end, only one contestant can win the $5,000 prize. The judges deliberate and announce the winner: the mom from Chicago! They love her use of turkey bacon and her unique glaze, and they think that her waffle is a great complement to the chicken. The mom from Chicago is thrilled and thanks the judges and the show for the opportunity to showcase her cooking skills.
