The episode also sees Ruth going on a date with a man named Tae Kwon Douglas, who she meets through a dating app. Ruth initially seems unimpressed with Tae, but things take a turn when he reveals that he has a surprise for her - a painting that he had made of Ruth and her cat.

As the day comes to a close, Ruth reflects on the events of the day, realizing that Rutherford B. Haze’s words of wisdom were actually coming from within herself. She also finally comes to terms with the fact that she is getting older and decides to embrace it, embracing her gray hair and choosing to no longer dye it.
