Ruth's relationship with Travis is put to the test when his father comes to town for a visit. Meanwhile, the dispensary receives a visit from the government agency responsible for regulating and inspecting cannabis-related businesses, putting the staff on edge. To make matters worse, the inspectors arrive during a time when the dispensary is experiencing an unprecedented shortage of product due to a shipment delay, forcing the staff to get creative in order to keep the business running smoothly. As Ruth attempts to hide her relationship with Travis from his father, the rest of the staff work together to impress the regulators and prevent any issues with their license. However, things take an unexpected turn when the inspectors discover a mysterious package in the back room, leading the staff to question whether or not it's worth risking their license to investigate.
