The episode begins with Kurt Grimmer and Erol Birkan attempting to find evidence that will connect the Neo-Nazis to the murder of Kalila. Meanwhile, Sabine is becoming more suspicious of her husband, while Grimmer continuously believes that his partner is continuing to act on behalf of his own agenda.

The two detectives visit a Neo-Nazi stronghold where they meet with a leader named Heinz. They use this as an opportunity to plant a GPS device on his car in the hope that this will lead them to more evidence that they can use against the group. Soon after, the detectives receive a tip-off that one of the members of the Neo-Nazi group is planning on leaving the country. They manage to capture him, and after some interrogation, the man reveals that the group had hired a hitman to murder Kalila.

Elsewhere, Thorsten and Lisa continue their investigation into Leon’s disappearance. Their search leads them to a warehouse where they find Leon's phone, wallet, and a bloodstained jacket. This leads them to the conclusion that Leon was murdered. They also hear a recording of a conversation between Leon and a Neo-Nazi who is heavily involved in trafficking which reveals that Leon was trying to gather evidence against them.

Meanwhile, Sabine investigates Kurt's background and discovers that he is divorced, and his ex-wife now lives in Berlin. As she digs deeper, she uncovers that Kurt's ex-wife had been murdered and her killer had never been caught.

In the climax, Grimmer and Birkan manage to locate the hitman and arrest him. This development puts the detectives a step closer towards connecting the Neo-Nazi group to Kalila's murder. The episode ends with Thorsten and Lisa discovering the Neo-Nazi's plan to launch an attack that would see a large amount of drugs and weapons being smuggled.
