As Emily deals with the emotional fallout of Doug's unexpected departure, she gathers with her colleagues to present the Durée lingerie campaign pitch. She wows them with her new approach, and they are impressed by her understanding of French culture.

The presentation ends on a high note, and Emily and her colleagues celebrate their success at a nearby bar. However, Emily is still reeling from Doug's abrupt departure, and the night ends in a heated argument between Emily and one of her colleagues.
