In Find Yourself season 1 episode 1, the show introduces us to the main character, He Fan Xing (Victoria Song), who is a 32-year-old woman deeply invested in her career. As the episode begins, we see her working late into the night at her job as an executive assistant at a reputable company.

At the party, He Fan Xing meets up with her two best friends, Nan Xiang (Esther Yu) and Jia Nan (David Wang). They try to cheer her up, but He Fan Xing is still reeling from her recent breakup and feeling like an outsider as all of her friends are happily in relationships.

As the party winds down, He Fan Xing encounters a much younger man named Liang Yimu (Zhang Yujian). He is the complete opposite of her ex-boyfriend: cheerful, carefree, and overly enthusiastic. Despite her initial reluctance, He Fan Xing finds herself intrigued by Liang Yimu and they end up having a drink together at a local bar.

The night doesn't end there for He Fan Xing, however. After their drink, Liang Yimu takes her to a club and they dance together. The experience is exhilarating for He Fan Xing, and she finds herself enjoying the spontaneous nature of Liang Yimu's company.

The next day, He Fan Xing is feeling a mixture of emotions - invigorated yet also uncertain about her future. When she returns to work, she finds out that a new boss has been hired to replace Yuan Song. The new boss, Zhao Cheng Zhi (Gao Han Yu), is immediately introduced as the antagonist of the show. He is cold, demanding, and dismissive towards He Fan Xing, which sets the stage for a conflict to come.

As the first episode comes to a close, He Fan Xing is left with a lot to process. She is still healing from her breakup, navigating the challenges of her career, and considering what her future may hold. Despite this, she is also beginning to embrace the unexpected, as she finds herself drawn to the carefree Liang Yimu and his impulsive lifestyle. The episode sets up the key themes for the rest of the show, which promises to be a mix of romance, drama, and self-discovery for the dynamic character of He Fan Xing.
