Find Yourself Season 1 Episode 4 Episode 4

In episode 4 of Find Yourself season 1, the story continues to follow He Fan Xing, a 32-year-old woman who finds herself at odds with her own life after a breakup. In this episode, He Fan Xing's ex-boyfriend, Yuan Song, is finally introduced to viewers.

As the episode opens, He Fan Xing is trying to get over her breakup by going on a blind date set up by her friends. She's hesitant about the whole thing, but decides to go anyway, hoping that it might help her move on. However, the blind date quickly turns sour when she realizes that her date is much younger than she is. Even worse, he doesn't seem to be taking the whole thing seriously and spends most of their time together on his phone.

Back at her office, things don't get much better for He Fan Xing. Her boss returns from his vacation and immediately starts criticizing her work, which only serves to make her feel more frustrated and unappreciated. The only bright spot in her day is her budding friendship with her much younger coworker, Li Yu Xuan. He's sweet, charming, and doesn't seem to take anything too seriously--a refreshing change from her ex-boyfriend, Yuan Song.

Speaking of Yuan Song, he finally makes his appearance in this episode--although it's not quite what viewers might expect. Instead of being a handsome prince charming, he's revealed to be something of a bad boy, a former street racer who's just returned to China after spending several years in the US. Despite this, He Fan Xing can't help but feel drawn to him, and they end up going on a date together to catch up on old times.

While their date is enjoyable, it quickly becomes clear that the two of them have very different priorities in life. Yuan Song seems content to party and have fun, while He Fan Xing is intent on building her career and finding happiness in her personal life. Even so, they end up sharing a kiss at the end of the night, leaving He Fan Xing even more confused about her feelings than before.

Meanwhile, Li Yu Xuan continues to prove himself as a supportive and caring friend. When He Fan Xing's ex-boyfriend turns up at the office unannounced, Li Yu Xuan rushes to her side and defends her honor. He's clearly smitten with her, but He Fan Xing remains oblivious to his advances--at least for now.

As the episode comes to a close, it's clear that He Fan Xing is at a crossroads. She's faced with a decision between her ex-boyfriend, who represents a more carefree and irresponsible lifestyle, and Li Yu Xuan, who is more stable and dependable but perhaps less exciting. It remains to be seen which path she'll choose, but one thing is certain--her life is about to get a lot more complicated.
