Ep 8. Game Night

Four Weddings and a Funeral is a romantic comedy series following a group of young friends as they navigate life, love and unexpected twists and turns. In season 1 episode 8, titled "Game Night," the gang comes together for their weekly game night tradition.

The episode begins with Maya feeling tense as she waits to hear back about her latest script. The others try to ease her nerves by planning an epic game night to take her mind off things. Craig volunteers to host the event and supplies plenty of beer, snacks and games.

As the night progresses, tensions begin to rise as the group gets competitive. They start off with a wholesome game of Trivial Pursuit, but things quickly escalate when they move on to drinking games and charades. Tony, always the showman, insists on acting out every clue rather than just mouthing the words.

Meanwhile, Ainsley is feeling guilty about keeping her relationship with Kash a secret from the group. She confides in Maya, who convinces her to come clean and tell the truth. Ainsley decides to take Maya's advice and tells the group about her relationship with Kash. To her surprise, they are all thrilled for her and give her their full support.

As the night wears on, Maya receives a call from her agent with news about her script. After an agonizing wait, Maya finally learns that her script has been greenlit and will be produced. The group cheers and celebrates Maya's success, but the mood is dampened when Tony makes a snide comment about Maya's dating life. Maya leaves the room, hurt and angry, and the others try to smooth things over between her and Tony.

In the end, Maya and Tony have a heart-to-heart and eventually reconcile. Maya reveals that she has been struggling with her dating life and feeling insecure about it, but Tony assures her that she is amazing and deserving of love. The group comes together once again and raises a toast to friendship, love and game night.
