Ep 20. Collateral Damage

As Miles tries to figure out the God Account, he enlists Cara's help to figure out why the Account sent him Simon Hayes' name. Simon Hayes is a major tech figure in the city and invites Miles and Cara to a tech conference where he's speaking. When they arrive, Simon tells them there's nothing he needs from them, but he's intrigued by Miles' story of his experience with the God Account and invites them to a private party. At the party, Simon tells Miles and Cara about the military technology he's been developing and how it has the potential to save lives on the battlefield. However, he also informs them that the military is pressuring him to rush the project and cut corners, which could lead to unintended consequences and innocent lives being lost. Miles and Cara begin to investigate the project and what could happen if it's not executed properly. Along the way, they encounter a soldier who has been affected by the project and has a story that could help them stop the military from moving forward with it. Meanwhile, Rakesh tries to figure out what he's doing with his life and makes a startling discovery.
