Ep 2. Loren Catches Eddie's Attention

Loren Catches Eddie's Attention is the second episode of the first season of the teen drama series Hollywood Heights. The episode starts with Loren, the aspiring singer, catching the attention of Eddie, the famous rock star, with her beautiful voice during her lunch break at her job. Eddie was passing by and he heard Loren singing from far and couldn't resist stopping and listening. Loren was stunned and amused to see Eddie standing in front of her and complimenting her singing. The two of them had a brief conversation before Eddie left, leaving Loren completely star-struck.

Meanwhile, Loren's best friend Melissa is still trying to convince her to attend Melissa's brother's party, where the two of them can meet some cute guys. Loren isn't particularly interested in attending the party, but Melissa manages to convince her by telling her that they might meet Eddie there. Loren, who is crushing on Eddie, agrees to attend the party with Melissa.

After attending the first day of her job, Loren comes home to find her mother Nora in a foul mood. Nora is still unhappy with Loren's decision to work at the hotel instead of focusing on her music career. A frustrated Nora tells Loren that nothing good will ever come out of her working at the hotel. Loren tries to remain positive and tells her mother that she enjoys the job, even though it's not what she wishes to do in the future. Nora is still upset and tells Loren that she won't be able to attend any recording classes until she quits her job at the hotel.

Later that evening, Loren and Melissa attend Melissa's brother's party. Once there, Melissa tries to set Loren up with Tyler, a football player attending the same party. Loren isn't interested, and all she could think of was meeting Eddie. However, Loren's luck seems to be running out as she can't find Eddie at the party, and Melissa seems to be too interested in pursuing Tyler to care for Loren's interest.

The episode transitions back to Eddie, who is struggling with writer's block, and his sister Chloe. Chloe is pressuring Eddie to find a new song that she could use for her upcoming movie, but Eddie is struggling. He starts thinking about Loren and her amazing voice, and wonders if she could help him create a new song. After some reluctance, Eddie decides to visit the hotel where Loren works to listen to her sing again.

The episode ends with Eddie visiting the hotel and listening to Loren sing. Loren is shocked to see Eddie again, and Eddie can't help but be struck by her voice. After a brief conversation, Eddie invites Loren to come to his studio the next day to record some tracks and help him come up with a new song. Loren is ecstatic and agrees to meet him the next day.

Overall, the second episode of Hollywood Heights was a setup to introduce the main characters and set the stage for the rest of the season. The episode was full of drama, teenage angst, and budding romance. Loren's character was developed further, and we get to see her struggles with pursuing her dreams while still trying to make her mother happy. Eddie's character initially appeared to be closed off, but we see a different side of him as he shows interest in Loren's singing and invites her to his studio. The episode ends on a high note, leaving the audience wanting more.
