Ep 2. Autopsy

In House season 2 episode 2, titled Autopsy, the medical drama continues with Dr. House and his team taking on a challenging case involving a 22-year-old student who collapses after having an affair with his professor. As they investigate the patient's symptoms, they discover that he has a rare genetic disorder which causes a buildup of iron in his liver.

Meanwhile, House seeks to obtain a medical sample from a deceased patient's autopsy to solve another case. This leads to a confrontation with the hospital's administrator, who insists that House follow protocol and obtain consent from the patient's family before performing an autopsy.

As the team tries to save the young patient, tensions rise within the group. Foreman and Chase are at odds over the diagnosis, while Cameron struggles with her feelings for House and her growing disillusionment with his callous attitude towards his patients.

The episode is a tense and dramatic exploration of the ethical and moral challenges faced by medical professionals, as well as the pressures that doctors and their teams face in treating complex and often life-threatening illnesses.
