Brad Leone is back for another exciting season of "It's Alive with Brad" and in the first episode of season 2, he's taking on the challenge of making chocolate...in Ecuador! The episode starts with Brad arriving in Ecuador, he's excited and ready to explore the country and learn all about how to make chocolate from scratch.

First, Brad meets up with his guide and local chocolate expert, Freddy, who takes him on a journey through the Ecuadorian jungle to see the cacao trees from which they will harvest the beans. Brad is amazed by the beauty of the trees and the journey to reach them, and he can't wait to see how the cacao beans will be turned into chocolate.

Next, Brad and Freddy head to a small cacao farm where they meet with the farmers who are working hard to grow the best cacao beans. They explain how they plant and harvest the beans, and then they take Brad on a tour of the farm. Brad gets a chance to taste the cacao fruit, which is quite sweet and tart, and he can't wait to see the beans inside of it.

Then, Brad gets a lesson in how to properly cut open the cacao pod to reveal the beans inside. He quickly learns that it's not as easy as it looks, but with some help from the farmers, he gets the hang of it. Once he's cut open a few pods, the beans are separated from the fruit and set out to dry in the sun.

As the beans dry, Brad and Freddy visit a local chocolate factory where they learn the process of making chocolate. Brad watches as the beans are roasted to bring out the flavor and aroma, then they are ground into a paste. The paste is then mixed with sugar, and this mixture is what creates the chocolate we know and love. Brad gets a chance to taste some of the chocolate and it's unlike anything he's ever had before, with a rich, creamy texture that just melts in your mouth.

Finally, Brad heads to the kitchen to start making his own chocolate from scratch. He grinds up the beans and sugar, and then he adds in some cocoa butter to help create a smooth texture. He tastes the mixture and adjusts the sugar and cocoa butter until he gets the perfect taste.

As the episode comes to a close, Brad packs up his homemade chocolate and heads out to explore more of Ecuador before returning to the kitchen to finish making his chocolate. He's excited to see how it turns out and can't wait to share it with everyone.

Overall, this episode is a great introduction to the second season of "It's Alive with Brad" and it showcases the beauty and complexity of making chocolate from scratch.
