After a successful performance of their kabuki play, the Kabukibu club has a new challenge ahead of them. They have been selected to perform in a prestigious kabuki festival, but their theme is not yet decided. In the meantime, the club members are introduced to a world of thieves and burglars as they attend a play focused on this theme.

In "These Five Thieves Lined Up Here," the viewer is taken on a journey of discovery with the kabuki club members. As they watch the play, the club members discover the art of Kusazuri-zukin, a type of disguise used by thieves in ancient Japan. Fascinated, the members decide to apply the techniques of Kusazuri-zukin to their kabuki play, hoping to create an unforgettable performance for the festival.

As the club members begin to research the art of Kusazuri-zukin, they discover a rich history behind it. The technique was used by thieves and burglars to conceal their identities and commit crimes. The Kusazuri-zukin was a type of hood worn by the thieves, which covered their entire head and shoulders. The hood had strips of cloth attached to it which would conceal the thief's face, thus preventing anyone from identifying them. The Kusazuri-zukin was designed in such a way that it would be difficult to remove, making it impossible for authorities to apprehend the culprits.

The kabuki club members are fascinated by this concept and decide to incorporate it into their performance. They begin to practice and, through trial and error, they develop a technique that closely resembles the Kusazuri-zukin. The members adopt different disguises, and even the leading actor is hidden behind a disguise – all in the name of creating an authentic kabuki performance.

As the club members continue to work on their performance, they start to discover the true meaning behind the Kusazuri-zukin. The technique was not just meant to help thieves commit crimes, but to protect them as well. During ancient Japan, the feudal lords were not known for being kind to the lower classes, and many people were forced to turn to crime in order to survive. The Kusazuri-zukin was a way for the thieves to protect themselves from harm and avoid detection. It was a way for them to maintain their identity and dignity, despite their criminal acts.

The Kabukibu club is moved by this realization, and as they continue to practice, they find a new appreciation for the art of kabuki. It was not just about performing for an audience, but it was about preserving the traditions of ancient Japan. The practice of kabuki kept alive the memories and stories of times gone by, and through their performances, the club members felt a sense of pride in their cultural heritage.

In this episode, the Kabukibu club members learn about the art of Kusazuri-zukin, a technique used by thieves and burglars in ancient Japan. Moved by the art and history behind the technique, the club members incorporate it into their upcoming kabuki performance, hoping to create an unforgettable show. As they practice and learn more about the Kusazuri-zukin, the club members gain a new appreciation for the art of kabuki and its significance to their cultural heritage.
