Sagrada Reset, also known as Sakurada Reset, is a Japanese anime television series adapted from the light novel series of the same name written by Yutaka Kono. The series aired from April 5, 2017, to September 13, 2017, and ran for 24 episodes. The anime was produced by David Production and directed by Shinya Kawatsura, with Ryoichi Watanabe handling the series composition. The soundtrack was composed by Koshiro Honda, and character designs were done by Tomoyuki Shitaya.

Sagrada Reset takes place in the small town of Sakurada, where a large percentage of the population possesses special abilities that manifest at birth and develop throughout their lives. These abilities range from mind-reading to the power to manipulate time itself, and those who possess them are known as "ability users."

The story follows two high school students, Kei Asai and Misora Haruki, who possess unique abilities. Kei has the ability to remember everything he has ever experienced, while Misora has the power to reset time for up to three days. Together, they form the "Service Club" and offer to help people with their problems using their abilities.

As the story progresses, the two protagonists learn more about the secrets of their town and the abilities of its inhabitants. They discover that the town has been under strict surveillance by the Bureau of Ability Affairs, which is a government organization tasked with overseeing ability users. The bureau is led by the cold and calculating, but controlling, woman named Sumire Soma, who also possesses a unique ability.

The show's premise is intriguing, as it starts with an incident that prompts Kei and Misora to work together. The incident is a suicide, which prompts Misora to reset time to three days earlier to prevent the tragedy from happening. From this point on, the audience is taken on a journey through the Service Club's various cases and the events that unfold in the town of Sakurada.

As the story progresses, the show begins to explore deeper issues that are related to the nature of reality, the power of memories, and the consequences of one's actions. The show creates a fantastically complex plot that is developed over time, with subtly placed clues and motifs that hint towards future reveals. Despite the show dealing with heavy themes, it does a good job of balancing it with comedic elements, providing levity to the show.

The animation and art style of Sagrada Reset are of great quality, with a focus on crisp and clean lines that create a polished look throughout the series. The characters are also uniquely designed, with each ability user having a unique appearance that matches their powers. The backgrounds are equally impressive, with a good amount of detail to lend realism to the settings of Sakurada.

The voice acting in the series is superb, with the performances of actors such as Kaito Ishikawa (Kei Asai) and Kana Hanazawa (Misora Haruki) being noteworthy. The music is also notable, with the show featuring a captivating and harmonious soundtrack that manages to complement each scene's mood.

One of the highlights of the show is the character development of Kei Asai, who is initially portrayed as an apathetic and cold individual. However, as the show progresses, the audience gets to see the layers beneath his personality, culminating in a thorough analysis of his backstory and motives.

Another part that stands out in the show is the relationship between Kei and Misora. Given their opposing personalities, interesting interplay occurs between them that's not only fun to watch but provides a much-needed contrast to the show's heavy themes. Their interaction sparks deep conversations that delve into philosophical issues that make the viewer's mind work.

The story is overall intriguing and fresh, delivering a unique take on the usual slice of life anime formula. The concept of "abilities" is presented in a way that makes these powers feel grounded in the world, and the show has a solid, well-thought-out backstory that makes the story feel believable. The pacing of the plot is a bit slow but provides for a more satisfying payoff later on.

However, the show isn't without its flaws. Despite being an anime that deals with time and memory, some plot points aren't well explained, resulting in plot holes or confusion. The show often goes into great detail in explanations, making it hard to keep up at times. However, those who keep up with the show's mind-bending concepts are rewarded with a story that's truly one of a kind.

Overall, Sagrada Reset is a show that's worth watching for its character development, unique concept, and well-crafted plot that's difficult to predict. Despite its somewhat lackluster pacing, it's an anime that manages to deliver on its promise of captivating sci-fi drama.
