In 33 Days You'll Die is the first episode of Lifeline season 1. This show follows the story of a company named Lifeline which uses time travel to prevent people's deaths. The first episode starts with a bang as a man named Conner Hooks receives a call from the future telling him he will die in 33 days.
Conner, who is a college football player, is understandably shaken by this call. He is told to meet a Lifeline agent, Norah, who will help him prevent his death. Norah explains to Conner that his death is caused by a heart attack on the field during a game. She instructs him to undergo further medical tests to confirm this and to start living a healthier lifestyle.
However, things take a turn for the worse when Conner's coach becomes suspicious of his sudden lifestyle changes. The coach confronts Conner and accuses him of taking performance enhancement drugs. This leads Conner to skip his tests and continue with his old lifestyle. He believes that if he dies, it's not because he didn't try to prevent it but because his death was meant to happen.
Further complicating things, it becomes clear that someone is trying to sabotage Lifeline's efforts to help Conner. The team discovers that Conner's death was caused by an unknown group trying to infiltrate and take down Lifeline. This puts Norah and the rest of the team in danger as well.
The episode ends with Conner deciding to take matters into his own hands and risk it all in an effort to prevent his death. He decides to play in the upcoming game and hopes that he will not suffer a heart attack. Meanwhile, the Lifeline team works to uncover and stop the group trying to take them down.
In 33 Days You'll Die sets up an interesting premise for the show and leaves viewers wanting to know more about Lifeline's technology and the people behind the mysterious group trying to take them down. It also raises questions about fate and destiny, and whether or not one can change their predetermined path. Overall, it's a solid start to the series and sets a good pace for the rest of the season.
