While attending her cousin's wedding, Bei Weiwei receives a call from Xiao Nai interrupting her preparation. He invites her to attend a special event in the game that evening. Bei Weiwei is thrilled but is surprised when he reveals that they will be joining forces to participate in the event. They strategize together, and while they're successful in the game, it becomes clear that the intensity of Xiao Nai's gaze on Bei Weiwei is something more than just focused attention.
Meanwhile, Er Xi tries to convince Cao Guang to become her in-game husband, but he rejects the proposal, stating that he is not a good fit for her. Disappointed, Er Xi seeks support from Meng Yiran, who tells her that it's better to be alone than with the wrong person. She advises her to spend time developing her skills in the game, and eventually, she will find someone who appreciates all she has to offer.
On the other hand, KO gives up his pursuit of Bei Weiwei, admitting to Hao Yiming that he knows he cannot compete with Xiao Nai. Although, he finds his solace in hitting the gym with Hao Yiming: they have a heart-to-heart conversation about their feelings and struggles, which helps KO to feel better.
Back to Bei Weiwei and Xiao Nai, where they enjoy a heart-warming conversation as they leave the game. Xiao Nai reveals that he created the game they just played, and Bei Weiwei is both impressed and flattered. He then presents her with a beautiful dress, which she shyly accepts, knowing that it means that he sees her as someone special. The two continue walking and chatting, both becoming increasingly aware of their attraction to one another.
As the episode ends, Bei Weiwei is back at her dorm room, admiring the dress that Xiao Nai gifted her, and wondering what's to come next with her crush.
