Ep 1. Plan B

Dev is a 30-year-old actor living in New York City who has yet to find his big break in the industry. His life mainly revolves around his friends and his dating life, where he seems to always get into awkward situations. In the first episode titled "Plan B," Dev goes on a date with a woman named Rachel, but things quickly spiral out of control when they find themselves in a pharmacy looking for emergency contraception.

While there, they run into a group of teenagers who recognize Dev from a commercial he acted in. Dev tries to play it cool, but ends up having to take pictures with them and getting into a conversation about the use of Plan B.

Eventually, Dev and Rachel return to her apartment and take the emergency contraception. Dev stays the night and they have an honest conversation about what they want from their relationship. The episode ends with Dev waking up in the morning to find that Rachel has left for work, but has left him a note thanking him for being there for her.
