Melrose Place (1992) Season 5 Episode 10 Nice Work if You Can Get It

In season 5, episode 10 of the iconic drama series Melrose Place titled "Nice Work if You Can Get It", the residents of the titular apartment complex continue to navigate their complicated personal lives.

We open on Alison trying to find a job. She gets an interview with a suave businessman named Zach, who asks her to dinner after the meeting. Jake sees them leaving the building together and becomes jealous. Later, when Alison goes on the date, she finds out that Zach actually wants her to spy on D&D Advertising for him. On the relationship front, Billy and Samantha's wedding is fast approaching, but Samantha has doubts about her feelings for him. She confides in Matt, who tries to convince her to tell Billy. While Samantha is struggling to come to a decision, Billy meets, Jen, a new resident at Melrose Place. They have a connection, but Billy tries to ignore it.

Meanwhile, a new tenant moves into the building. David Michaels, a mysterious writer, moves in across from Jo. Jo is immediately attracted to him and invites him to a pool party. They have an instant chemistry, and she is smitten with him. She later finds out that he's investigating a tragedy that happened at Melrose Place years ago.

Finally, Michael and Kimberly are having trouble in their marriage. Kimberly reveals to Jo that she may not be able to have children and that Michael is not okay with that. Michael continues to pursue Megan, but she's not interested. On top of that, his financial troubles lead him to make shady business deals.

As the episode comes to a close, Billy is conflicted about his feelings for Jen, Jane warns Sydney about getting involved in the adult industry, and Alison is trying to figure out a way to get a job without compromising her morals. The episode ends with everyone still trying to navigate their complicated lives at Melrose Place.
