The Doctor Is In... Deep is the fourth episode of the sixth season of the popular drama series Melrose Place. The episode revolves around Kimberly, a former resident of the Melrose Place complex who, after suffering a traumatic brain injury, has become a completely different person. In this episode, Kimberly starts her new job at the hospital and begins to bond with one of her patients, a young girl suffering from leukemia.

Throughout it all, themes of love, loyalty, and betrayal play out in complex and unexpected ways. As the characters struggles with their personal demons, they are forced to confront uncomfortable truths about themselves and each other.
