Modern Love Amsterdam Season 1 Episode 2 Hold Me Close

Katja and Simon have known each other since they were students and have found each other in their sharp observations of the world and in their remorseless, no-prisoners-taken, sense of humor. Katja became a lawyer and Simon a journalist. Not much of that razor-sharp edge survived after Simon was left both partially paralyzed and suffering from aphasia due to a case of medical malpractice. As Simon struggles to regain control of his body and his speech, Katja wages battles against the parties responsible for their situation and against their noisy and boisterous neighbors. They fail to realize that they are gradually losing each other. Then Simon risks it all by proposing this: if he is unable to provide her with the intimacy that she needs, then perhaps she should look for it in someone else.
