Modern Love Amsterdam Season 1 Episode 4 In The Eye Of The Storm

Dwayne and Marisa are happy with their two little girls. Still, Dwayne finds it difficult to allow himself to fully commit himself emotionally to his present family situation. This becomes painfully obvious when Dwayne refuses to celebrate his birthday. Years before, he had lost his previous wife and his two young sons when hurricane Irma hit St Maarten during their stay there. This enormous grief still eats away at him and at the same time he finds it hard to show his vulnerability as a loving father. Today he has reached the point at which the situation has become untenable and so Dwayne must open up and tell his young daughters that they once had two half-brothers.
