Lovelorn protagonist Si Tu Mo continues her dorm room living situation with her flatmate Fu Pei. In this episode, Si Tu becomes increasingly consumed by her crush on her classmate Gu Wei Yi, a gifted science student who seems to have little interest in romance. Si Tu's efforts to spend time with Gu Wei Yi are thwarted by the demands of her part-time job and her school assignments, leaving her feeling increasingly desperate for some sort of connection.

Si Tu is disappointed when Gu Wei Yi doesn't seem to have any time for her, despite her best efforts to get his attention.

As Si Tu's frustration with her situation grows, she turns to her friend Luosang, who encourages her to take action and tell Gu Wei Yi how she feels. Si Tu finds herself emboldened by Luosang's advice, and she eventually works up the courage to ask Gu Wei Yi to hang out after class. To her surprise, Gu Wei Yi agrees, and the two spend a pleasant afternoon talking and getting to know one another.

As the episode comes to a close, Si Tu is left feeling more hopeful about her future with Gu Wei Yi. Meanwhile, Fu Pei reflects on her own situation and decides to take a more compassionate approach toward her roommate. The episode ends on a hopeful note, with both Si Tu and Fu Pei looking forward to what the future may hold.
