The Queens of Mystery are back to solve yet another intriguing case. This time, they find themselves caught up in the world of modern art when a wealthy art collector is found dead in his home. The victim's wife, a famous artist known for her provocative and controversial pieces, becomes the prime suspect in the murder investigation.
The episode opens with Detective Sergeant Matilda Stone (Olivia Vinall) and her aunt Beth (Sarah Woodward) attending an art exhibition at a local gallery. Meanwhile, Cat finds herself drawn to the victim's wife, an enigmatic artist who is shrouded in mystery. She becomes convinced of her innocence but struggles to find evidence to exonerate her.
As the investigation deepens, the Queens of Mystery navigate the complex relationships and hidden agendas of those involved in the art world. They must also contend with interference from a rival detective agency led by a charming, but bumbling, detective who seems to be one step ahead of them.
The episode ends on a cliffhanger as the Queens of Mystery uncover a shocking piece of evidence that leads them to a new suspect and they are left with a daunting task ahead of them in the conclusion of the two-parter storyline.
