Ep 1. A Summer by the North Sea

In Seaside Hotel Season 1 Episode 1, titled "A Summer by the North Sea," we are introduced to the charming and nostalgic world of a Danish seaside hotel. The show takes place in the summer of 1928, a time when the aristocracy and upper-middle-class families would vacation at seaside resort hotels for months at a time.
We meet the owner of the hotel, Fie (Rosalinde Mynster), a determined and hardworking woman who inherited the hotel from her father. She's trying to make ends meet while preserving the hotel's traditions and dealing with unruly guests.
One of these problematic guests is Mads (Allan Hyde), a young and wealthy man who's staying at the hotel with his friends. Mads and his friends behave recklessly, causing problems for the other guests and hotel staff.
Fie's brother, Morten (Lars Ranthe), is the hotel's chef. He's an excellent cook, but he's also facing a personal crisis - his wife left him, and he's struggling to cope with the pain of separation. While he's preparing meals for the hotel's guests, he's also trying to win his wife back.
As the summer progresses, we see how Fie and Morten work together to keep the guests happy, despite the challenges that they face. Meanwhile, Mads and his friends cause more trouble, and tensions rise between them and the other guests.
Amidst all of these challenges, Fie finds time for romance with a new face at the hotel, Otto (Amalie Dollerup). Otto is a young and handsome man who brings a breath of fresh air to the hotel. We watch as their relationship blossoms, and we see how Fie balances her feelings for Otto with her responsibilities as the hotel's owner.
As the first episode ends, we're left with a sense that there's much more drama and intrigue to come in the world of the Seaside Hotel. We're eager to see how Fie and Morten will handle the challenges that their guests throw at them and how the relationships between the hotel's staff and guests develop over time. Regardless, we're excited to be along for the ride and see what interesting twists and turns await us in the upcoming episodes.
