Meanwhile, Justin's father surprises him by showing up in town and offering to pay for his tuition at a prestigious university. Serena seeks advice from Leah about her relationship with Marcus and whether she should tell him about her past. Dasha hires a new skater named Kendra who has a complicated history with Justin. As tensions rise on and off the ice, each character must confront their own personal demons and navigate the challenges of the skating world.
