The year is 2275 and humanity has colonized much of the galaxy, but there are still vast areas unexplored. Among the stars is a group known as Starhunters who hunt down evil men and women that lurk in the shadows and commit crimes too heinous for regular authorities to handle.
In "The Divinity Cluster," the first episode of Starhunter Redux Season 1, we are introduced to the crew of the Tulip, a bounty hunter vessel led by ex-cop and current skipper Dante Montana (Michael Paré), and his team of misfits: his trusty engineer and brother Travis (Stephen Marcus), his hot-headed daughter Percy Montana (Tanya Allen), and ruthless assassin Lucrecia Scott (Claudette Roche).
A mysterious woman named Zara (Jennifer Copping) hires Dante to track down and retrieve a valuable item that was stolen from her. The item is a map leading to a cluster of stars known as the "Divinity Cluster," a place rumored to contain incredible wealth and ancient artifacts. Zara is willing to pay any price to get the map back, and Dante and his team set off to find it.
Their journey takes them to a seedy bar on a remote planet where they find a lead on the thief who stole the map. When they arrive, however, they discover that the thief has already sold the map to a group of ruthless space pirates known as the Raiders. Dante and the crew must now track down the Raiders and retrieve the map before it falls into the wrong hands.
As they navigate through dangerous territory and fight off other bounty hunters and rogue pirates, the crew soon realizes that the map leads to more than just treasure. It may hold the key to unlocking a forgotten alien civilization and discovering the secrets of the galaxy. But with so many forces at play, Dante and his crew must stay one step ahead of their enemies to survive and complete their mission.
Overall, "The Divinity Cluster" is a thrilling and action-packed episode that sets the stage for the rest of the series. The characters are well-developed, and their relationships provide a strong foundation for the plotline. The episode also introduces several subplots that will be explored in later episodes, including a mysterious figure who seems to be following Dante and his crew. Fans of science fiction, action, and adventure will definitely enjoy this episode and the rest of the series.
