Street Hawk is an 80's action television series that aired for thirteen episodes in the year of 1985. The show revolves around the life of a police officer named Jessie Mach (played by Rex Smith) who possesses a penchant for high-speed chases and a deep love for motorcycles. However, after being injured in a crash while pursuing a criminal, Jessie is offered a rare opportunity: to become the test pilot for a top-secret government project.

Street Hawk is a supercharged, high-tech motorcycle that was built for one purpose: to fight crime. With its state-of-the-art weaponry and advanced technological features, the bike is ideal for chasing down and apprehending even the most elusive and dangerous criminals. As the show progresses, Jessie Mach dons the alter-ego of Street Hawk, using his new-found powers to fight injustice and keep the streets safe.

Throughout the series, Street Hawk takes part in numerous high-octane chases and explosive battles with various criminals. Jessie's nemesis throughout the series is a wealthy businessman named Norman Tuttle (played by Richard Venture). Tuttle is the financial backer of the Street Hawk project, and he is using the bike for his own nefarious purposes. Jessie is torn between his loyalty to Tuttle and his desire to use Street Hawk only for good.

As the series progresses, Jessie is joined by his friend and confidant, Norman's assistant, and a scientist, Rachel Adams (played by Jeannie Wilson). Together, they embark on missions to protect the city, thwart criminals, and ultimately bring down Tuttle's empire.

One of the standout features of the show is its impressive special effects, which were groundbreaking for the time. The high-speed chases and elaborate action sequences make Street Hawk a thrilling watch for both motorcycle enthusiasts and action-lovers alike.

In addition to its impressive visual effects, Street Hawk also features a catchy and memorable theme song, composed by Tangerine Dream. The music perfectly encapsulates the show's high-octane energy and adds to the overall excitement of each episode.

Another noteworthy aspect of the show is its cast of talented actors, including Rex Smith, Richard Venture, and Joe Regalbuto. Smith's portrayal of Jessie Mach is nuanced and authentic, striking the perfect balance between tough-as-nails motorcycle cop and vulnerable human being. Venture's portrayal of the villainous Norman Tuttle is cold and calculating, providing the perfect foil to Jessie's altruistic nature. Regalbuto's character of Dominick Santini adds a touch of humor to the show while also serving as a valuable ally to Jessie in his crusade against crime.

Overall, Street Hawk is an action-packed and thrilling ride that will keep viewers on the edge of their seats. With its impressive special effects, catchy theme song, and talented cast, the show remains a beloved classic among fans of 80's television.

Street Hawk is a series that is currently running and has 1 seasons (13 episodes). The series first aired on January 4, 1985.
