Ep 4. The Exorcism of the Boy

In The Dead Lands season 1 episode 4, titled "The Exorcism of the Boy," Waka and Mehe are approached by a village in need of their help. A young boy has been possessed by a powerful spirit and the village believes that Waka and Mehe have the ability to exorcise the demon from the child.

Waka and Mehe arrive in the village and determine that the demon is indeed very strong. They begin to perform traditional Māori rituals in an attempt to expel the demon from the boy's body. However, as they progress through the exorcism, they begin to realize that the demon may be connected to something much larger than just the boy.

As the exorcism continues, Waka and Mehe find themselves in danger as they come face to face with an ancient enemy. They must use all of their skills and knowledge to combat this new threat and ensure the safety of the village as well as the boy they are trying to save.

Meanwhile, another danger looms as the tribe's chief struggles to maintain control under pressure from outside forces. Waka and Mehe may have to face an even greater enemy than the demon possessing the boy.

As the episode comes to a close, Waka and Mehe are left with more questions than answers. They must continue their journey and uncover the truth about the demon possession and the greater threat that may be looming. Will they be able to protect the village and defeat their enemies, or will they fall victim to the darkness that threatens to consume them?
