In the first episode of The Sandhamn Murders, we are introduced to the idyllic island of Sandhamn, located in the Stockholm archipelago. We meet Nora Linde, a single mother and prosecutor, who is determined to leave her stressful job in the city behind and spend the summer with her two children on the island. However, Nora's peaceful vacation is disrupted when a young man is found dead in the water.
The victim, a local resident named Markus, was a popular and well-liked guy, leaving the island in shock.
