Choi Soo-ah struggles to come to terms with the abrupt departure of her first love, Yoo Jin-kang. After a series of failed attempts to contact him, she finds solace in the company of his estranged brother, Yoo Jin-gook. Despite Jin-gook's rough exterior, Soo-ah finds herself drawn to him and begins to confide in him about her past.

Meanwhile, Detective Yang Ki-seok continues his investigation into the mysterious deaths surrounding Jin-kang. His suspicions only grow stronger when he discovers that Jin-kang had borrowed money from loan sharks and had been struggling to repay them.

As Jin-gook and Soo-ah grow closer, they begin to uncover shocking truths about their pasts and the people they thought they knew. With Ki-seok hot on their trail, they must navigate dangerous waters to protect themselves and their loved ones.
