Maggie Cole hasn't learned her lesson yet. This time, the town will react to her actions and words after her radio show has aired. The episode starts where the premiere left off - with the audio of Maggie Cole saying extremely personal information about one of Ardsmuir's residents. As expected, people are furious and the whole town is talking about it.

The episode, titled "Episode 2" focuses on the aftermath of Maggie's mistakes. She tries to make up for what she's done, but it's clear that it won't be easy. Maggie's mother Jillian (Lia Williams) - who also happens to be the editor of the local paper - isn't happy with her daughter's behavior. Jillian was supposed to review Maggie's past interviews before they went live on her radio show, but Maggie went behind her mother's back and broadcasted without approval. Now, Jillian is paying the consequences too.

Maggie reaches out to the people she's hurt, and some are willing to talk to her. However, it becomes clear that not everyone is as forgiving as the others. The consequences of Maggie's actions start to spill over into other parts of her life as well. For example, her husband Peter (Mark Heap) is contacted by a news outlet that wants to cover the story and he has to figure out whether he should be on Maggie's side or not.

Maggie's best friend Becka (Gwyneth Keyworth) still supports her, but it's clear that her patience is wearing thin. Becka has her own problems to deal with, and she can't be expected to constantly protect Maggie from the consequences of her actions. Maggie's son Jamie (Phil Dunster) is also struggling with his mother's missteps. He has his own problems to deal with - including his girlfriend who wants to talk to him about their future together - and he doesn't want to add Maggie's mess to his plate.

Maggie's situation isn't helped by the arrival of Marcus (Vincent Regan), a music producer who has come to town to work with her daughter-in-law Becka. Marcus seems to be yet another person who is judging Maggie's behavior, and his presence only adds to Maggie's tensions.

As the episode progresses, it becomes clear that the trouble with Maggie Cole isn't going away anytime soon. She's made mistakes, and she'll have to face the consequences. Along the way, Maggie will need to figure out who she can trust and who is using her for their own gain. She'll also have to figure out how to fix her relationships with those she's hurt.

Overall, "Episode 2" of The Trouble with Maggie Cole is a tense episode that deals with the fallout of Maggie's mistakes. It's clear that Maggie has a lot of work to do if she wants to make things right, and it's unclear if she'll be able to do it. The performances from the cast - especially from Dawn French as Maggie - are excellent, and the writing is sharp and engaging. Fans of the show will not be disappointed by this episode.
