Ep 5. The Time Zack Morris Was An Egomaniacal Rock Star

As promised, the fifth episode of season five of Zack Morris Is Trash, titled "The Time Zack Morris Was An Egomaniacal Rock Star," takes viewers on yet another cringe-inducing journey through the many character flaws of Zack Morris.

As the night goes on, Zack's ego continues to balloon, leading to a disastrous moment where he takes credit for a song that was actually written by his friend and bandmate, Jessie Spano. Jessie calls Zack out on his insincerity, causing Zack to go into a fit of rage and storm off stage.

But the embarrassment doesn't end there for Zack. As he tries to make amends with Jessie backstage, he accidentally spills a drink on her and ruins her outfit. Unable to admit to his mistake, he instead tries to blame it on a group of random strangers, leading to even more chaos.

In the end, Zack's ego and selfishness prove to be his downfall as he's ultimately kicked out of the band and left to face the consequences of his actions alone.

As with past episodes of Zack Morris Is Trash, "The Time Zack Morris Was An Egomaniacal Rock Star" is filled with cringe-worthy moments that highlight the worst aspects of Zack's personality. From his narcissism to his lack of empathy, viewers can't help but shake their heads at the antics of this self-centered teenager.

But despite the discomfort that comes with watching Zack's misadventures, the show succeeds in its ultimate goal of exposing the toxic attitudes and behaviors that can be all too common in high school and beyond.
