Arthur Lyle is a tween boy, age 12 to be precise, that has long been taunted by the school bully. After enduring a constant stream of taunts for being a nerd, Arthur is saved by a mystical troll who senses a great power within the boy; Arthur may very well hold the secret to defeating a sinister dragon, Lord Darksmoke, within himself. Arthur's doting mother, in an effort to prevent losing custody of the boy to her ex-husband, refuses to believe any of Arthur's tall tales of dragons and magic. However, her tune soon changes when she discovers that those fantasies are very real. Arthur thus sets out on a quest to save the world by ridding it of the dragon, and a malevolent vice-principal, with the help of the troll, his mother, his friends Natalie and Tim, and Shane, a hack of a video game expert. “Adventures of a Teenage Dragonslayer” is a live action fantasy film from 2010. It has a total running time of 93 minutes. Andrew Laurer, who plays Arthur's father, also serves as the film's director.
