This episode from the popular Flash Gordon television series first aired in 1954. Dr. Hans Zarkov has developed a new machine that he hopes to test on a distant planet called Tarset. But the authorities refuse to allow his anti-gravity tests to proceed, because an earlier scientific expedition to the planet met with disaster. The only survivor returned, babbling about an idol and a terrible curse. Flash Gordon resolves to go to Tarset with Dr. Zarkov and Dale Arden and investigate. They discover the situation involves a far more sinister plot by agents of Ebon than they originally imagined possible.
