Girls in Prison

The 1994 film Girls In Prison is considered as a movie that offers simply all genres in one. It is a thriller, drama, crime, action, and a bit of romance all in one, and has gotten many people nowadays wondering exactly why movies now can't be anything like this film. With a unique plot and a bunch of great actors portraying wild imprisoned females made the entire film quite splendid. Not many movies can offer almost all genres and still sustain a good story, which is exactly why this specific film received such praise back then. Until now, this movie is watched by dozens of people all over the world, and has gotten many movie critics to simply love the film in general.

The plot of the film starts off with a woman who has been framed for a murder of a president of a record company in 1952 located in Hollywood. Aggie O'Hanlon was actually an aspiring young singer that was then sentenced to life in prison. This huge life changing experience then makes her try to adjust to her new life behind bars where there are other dangerous female prisoners. While in the hellish female prison, she is then befriended by a few other life in prison inmates that simply help her out when Aggie herself has found an unknown source that may know a lot more about the case then she does. 

Although the film only received a 4.8 out of 10, it was still praised by a bunch of viewers and movie critics. It has this unique flare to it that really made it a unique film. The actors were said to really make the characters seem as if they were real life people, and that just made the film even more exemplary. The film overall had mix reviews, but was still perceived as enjoyable by reviewers. Many have stated that if their were more films like it nowadays, actors will really test their acting skills.

Being an innocent female that is in jail with a bunch of convicts can be very frightening as well as challenging as an actress. The film definitely deserved the praise it received by the movie critics online. Which is exactly why many have been advising people to watch the film when they get the time. It is a great movie that can be great to view if you enjoy all genres in one.
