The Prince and the Pauper: Double Trouble is an animated adventurous story of two characters from completely different worlds. Although both the pauper, Tom Canty and Prince Edward look alike, they know nothing about how the other lives. A unique turn of events bring the two together for the first time. Both Prince Edward and Tom Canty are tired of living their current lives. After meeting one another and finding they are identical in appearance, they choose to switch places and see what new adventures lie ahead.

Prince Edward learns what it’s like to live as a pauper, without his usual wait staff and money to afford whatever he likes. Tom Canty finds out what a spoiled life one leads as a royal family member.

The Prince and the Pauper: Double Trouble introduces viewers to a grouchy yet lovable donkey and a witty court jester to give the film a comical side.
