Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit is a 2005 stop-motion animated comedy film directed by Nick Park and Steve Box. It was produced by DreamWorks Animation and Aardman Animations and premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival. The film stars Peter Sallis as Wallace, a cheese-loving inventor, and his faithful dog Gromit, voiced by silent acting. They must save their town from a monstrous rabbit before a vegetable-growing contest everyone knows and loves too much. The movie features voice acting from Helena Bonham Carter and Ralph Fiennes, among others.

The movie takes place in a small English town called Tottington Hall. The inhabitants are getting ready for the annual vegetable-growing contest, and everyone is working hard on perfecting their crops. Wallace and Gromit, owners of the Anti-Pesto pest control service, are trying to find a humane way to remove rabbits from the town's gardens. Wallace has invented a machine called the Bun Vac 6000 that can suck up rabbits without hurting them, but unfortunately, the machine malfunctions and the rabbits get loose.

As the town continues to prep for the contest, a mysterious creature begins to terrorize the town, destroying all the crops. People believe it to be a giant rabbit, and Anti-Pesto is called to investigate. Wallace and Gromit are tasked with capturing the creature, and they set off to do so, but they soon discover that the creature is, in fact, a were-rabbit - which means it turns into a monster at night and ravages the town's gardens.

Wallace becomes absolutely infatuated with the were-rabbit, seeing it as an amazing opportunity for a new invention. Meanwhile, Lady Tottington, the town's wealthy benefactor, grapples with her own issues - her snobbish friends are pressuring her to hire the town's obnoxious hunter, Victor, to take care of the problem more permanently. Lady Tottington, however, is more of an animal lover and wants to find a humane solution to the were-rabbit problem.

Wallace and Gromit try a variety of solutions to get the were-rabbit problem under control but are unsuccessful, and the were-rabbit keeps wreaking havoc. Things come to a head when the were-rabbit terrorizes the vegetable-growing contest, and the entire town seems to be threatened by its presence. Wallace and Gromit are now in a race against time to find a way to cure the were-rabbit and save the town.

The rest of the movie is spent with Wallace, Gromit, and Lady Tottington coming up with a plan to stop the were-rabbit, with plenty of action-packed scenes and humorous moments along the way. The film's humor is a blend of slapstick and more sophisticated jokes, with visual puns and clever wordplay scattered throughout.

Overall, Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit is an entertaining animated film that will appeal to both adults and children. Its sophisticated humor and excellent animation set it apart from other films in the genre, and the characters are endearing and likable. Fans of the Wallace and Gromit series will not be disappointed, and newcomers will find plenty to enjoy in this quirky and fun film.
