Ep 6. Series 18 Episode 6

8 Out of 10 Cats is a British panel show that has been on the air since 2005. The show is hosted by comedian Jimmy Carr and features two teams of three comedians who are tasked with answering a series of humorous questions about current events, pop culture, and more. The title of the show comes from the fact that statistically, 8 out of 10 people surveyed will give a particular answer to a given question.

Season 18 episode 6 of 8 Out of 10 Cats is titled "Series 18 Episode 6" and was originally broadcast on October 16, 2015. The episode features regulars on the show Jon Richardson and Sean Lock, who are joined by comedians Aisling Bea, Jason Manford, Rob Beckett, and Katherine Ryan. The teams are divided into the traditional "cats" and "dogs" teams, with Richardson leading the former and Lock leading the latter.

The episode starts with the teams discussing topics such as the European Union and the recent scandal involving Volkswagen's emissions tests. They then move on to a topic that is a staple of the show- surveys. The comedians are given the results of various surveys and asked to guess what the most popular answer was. The topics range from the things that people are most likely to lie about to the things that make people most annoyed in the workplace.

After the survey segment, the teams are asked to guess the percentage of people who have done various things. For example, they are asked to guess what percentage of people have slept with someone they met on the internet or what percentage of people have eaten food that they found in a bin. The answers are often surprising and lead to a lot of laughs as the comedians debate what they think the most likely answer is.

In the next segment, the teams are given a series of statements and asked to guess whether they are true or false. The statements range from the bizarre (such as "In 2006, a Canadian man tried to sell his kidney on eBay") to the historical ("Napoleon Bonaparte was actually taller than the average Frenchman at the time"). The teams do surprisingly well at this segment, with both teams managing to correctly guess some of the more obscure statements.

The show then moves on to the "What's in the Box?" segment, where the comedians are shown an object and have to guess what it is. The catch is that they can only ask yes or no questions about the object. The object in question is a musical instrument, which proves to be a challenge for both teams.

The final segment of the show is the "Quickfire Round", where the comedians are asked a series of questions and have to give quick, witty answers. The questions range from the absurd ("Things you wouldn't want to hear your surgeon say before an operation") to the topical ("Things that would be better to be in than Jeremy Corbyn's shoes").

Overall, series 18 episode 6 of 8 Out of 10 Cats is a typically hilarious and irreverent episode of the long-running panel show. The comedians are all on top form, with plenty of laughs to be had throughout the episode. Fans of the show will definitely not be disappointed by this episode.
