4 Minute Mile

4 Minute Mile is a drama sports film that was released in 2014. It follows the life of a retired track coach who is exceptionally dissatisfied with his life. The track couch decides to turn his life around by privately training a high school student who is exceptionally talented at running. The track coach teaches the student how to run a mile in 4 minutes and enters him into a very prestigious race. However, right before the race the student is injured and will probably never run again, which leaves the track coach having to confront the problems that he has been hiding from by training the student. Eventually the coach finds peace with his life of retirement.

4 Minute Mile was directed by Charles-Olivier Michaud. It was written by Josh Campbell and was co-written with the help of Jeff Van Wie. The film features performances by Analeigh Tipton, Cam Gigandet, and Kim Basinger.
