Smith playing Newton, talks about his life growing up in Oakland, how he studied at the University of California Santa Cruz, and as a co-founder of the Black Panthers, he became the Minster of Defense as he helped his community. The movie received many awards such as the Peabody award and several NAACP image awards. The movie is profound and deep from the solo performance.
