Watch After Tiller
- 1 hr 27 min
Following the last handful of doctors in America who perform late term abortions, After Tiller looks at the daily decisions made by patients, activists and doctors on the abortion journey. Spanning several states and including patients from around the world, the documentary looks at both legal and ethical ramifications to the decision to have and perform a late term abortion. Directed by Martha Shane and Lana Wilson, the film takes an impartial and unbiased look at the decision making process and legislature of abortion. Premiering at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival, where it won IndieWire's Critic's Poll for Best Documentary Feature, After Tiller has been praised for its realistic and fair portrait of a controversial topic without using propaganda or sensationalism. It has opened up conversations and begun a dialogue where awkward silences and avoidance were the only response.
