Watch Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem
Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem is a science fiction action horror movie released in 2007, directed by Greg and Colin Strause. It is a sequel to the 2004 film Alien vs. Predator and the second installment in the Alien vs. Predator franchise. The movie opens with a Predator ship crash-landing in a forest outside of Gunnison, Colorado. A Facehugger emerges from the wreckage and infects a Predator, creating a new hybrid creature known as the Predalien. The Predalien starts laying eggs all over the small town, and soon a horde of Xenomorphs emerge, causing chaos and death in their wake. Meanwhile, a group of humans, including returning character Kelly O'Brien (Reiko Aylesworth), her brother Tim (John Ortiz), and local sheriff Morales (John Ortiz), are trying to survive the onslaught of the aliens. They team up with a group of military operatives, led by Dallas (Steven Pasquale) and Ricky (Johnny Lewis), to fight back against the extraterrestrial threat. As the Xenomorphs continue to terrorize the town, the Predator who survived the crash is on a mission to eliminate the Predalien and stop the infestation before it spreads beyond the town. Along the way, the human survivors encounter the Predator and join forces with him to defeat the monstrous aliens. The movie features intense action sequences, gruesome deaths, and plenty of nods to the previous Alien and Predator films. The special effects are impressive, with the Xenomorphs and the Predalien being particularly well-designed. While the movie received mixed reviews from critics, fans of both franchises seemed to enjoy the action-packed mashup of the two iconic creatures battling it out. The filmmakers aimed to make the film grittier and more violent than its predecessor, and it certainly delivers on that front. Overall, Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem is an intense and bloody action horror movie that successfully blends the Alien and Predator universes into a thrilling showdown between two of science fiction's most iconic creatures.
