American Gothic

This film is inspired by the famous Grant Wood painting of the same name. Cynthia is distraught over leaving her infant son in the bathtub to drown. Five of her friends take Cynthia on vacation to get away from it all. The friends have problems with the plane, which forces them to land on an deserted island. On the island, the friends find a cottage. The owners, an elderly couple, invite the pals to spend the night. The next day, while visiting on the island, one the friends wanders off. He dies in a freak accident, falling off a cliff.
