The old Belasco house has an evil past and is believed to be haunted. The former owner, Emeric Belasco, murdered his family and disappeared soon after without a trace. Now a wealthy old millionaire wants to conduct an investigation at Hell House to verify if life after death really exists. He has hired a team of experts to spend a week at the estate. A renowned physicist, Lionel Barrett, accompanied by his wife are joined by two top-rate mediums. The physical medium, Ben Fischer, is the only person to escape from an earlier investigation at Hell House unscathed.
