Dee Roberts is a hardworking single mother who works at a local diner. One day, while working, a local district attorney brings in a group of thugs into the diner and basically a drug deal goes wrong. It ends up with her being arrested and facing charges of drug possession and dealing. Even though she is charged, it was the district attorney drug dealing. She has no past with drugs and these charges not only threaten her life but her young life. She decides to not plead guilty and fight the system and powerful district attorney who is responsible for her being there.
